Prep School Receives the Keys to New £1.5 Million Building

The Prep School received the keys to its magnificent new £1.5 million academic building this week, the latest development in a collection of buildings at Clayesmore designed by Philip Proctor Associates. Head of Prep, Richard Geffen, governors and staff joined everybody involved in the project for the official hand-over from Graham Kick, the site manager for Hammond and Sons, the builders. ...

The annual French/History tour was another success this year for pupils in Year 7. Staying in a hotel overlooking Omaha Beach and visiting the Pegasus Bridge and the Bayeux Tapestry allowed the pupils to engage more visually in their studies on the D-Day Landings and the Norman Conquests. French language skills were also put to the test in the local markets and shops where pupils purchased...
Boarders Learning to Survive

Boarders at the Prep School, more used to the comfort and convenience of a 'home from home' environment with regular tasty and healthy meals laid on, spent a day building shelters and cooking their own food recently. Learning the art of bushcraft and survival in the Piddle Woods, 35 pupils collected fuel, cooked trout on an open fire and constructed shelters for protection from the elements....

An amazing round of sporting victories at the end of term saw the 1st XI cricket team winning all their matches and blistering performances in girls' rounders with comprehensive wins across the board in all age groups.
