Beyond the Classroom
The annual French/History tour was another success this year for pupils in Year 7. Staying in a hotel overlooking Omaha Beach and visiting the Pegasus Bridge and the Bayeux Tapestry allowed the pupils to engage more visually in their studies on the D-Day Landings and the Norman Conquests.
French language skills were also put to the test in the local markets and shops where pupils purchased their own food for a picnic.
