End of Term Sporting Victories
An amazing round of sporting victories at the end of term saw the 1st XI cricket team winning all their matches and blistering performances in girls’ rounders with comprehensive wins across the board in all age groups.
In cricket, the boys won against Warminster, Hazelgrove and Perrot Hill. Their winning streak even held firm in the final week with the ‘Fathers and Sons’ game where they claimed victory by 13 runs. A mention also must go to the fledgling U9 side who won two of their four matches by 8 runs and 6 runs respectively against Ballard School and Sunninghill.
The U13, 12, 11 and 10’s girls rounders team didn’t drop a single match in June with the U10 side coming in as equal first and the U11’s winning the Leweston Tournament. The U12A side were also runner’s up in the North Dorset Tournament losing narrowly, 2-3 to Handford in the final.
