Runners in the Ribbons
Congratulations this week go to talented cross country competitor, Andy Smith who won his year 8 race at the Ken Bailey Cross Country Races at Bryanston. His was a convincing win coming in well ahead of the current Dorset champion. Andy’s performance and that of his team members, Ed Welch, Eric Newland, Tom Highnam, Bradley Asplen and Barney Huthwaite also secured the overall team victory for the year 8 competition.
The boys A team in year 7 and below also deserve a mention for their spirited race. They came in just two points behind the winning team. Well done to Toto Gandiya, Alex Miles, Will Christmas, Tom Winks, Jacob Marie, Toby Huthwaite, Jack Solomans, Guy Welch, Tom Miles, Guy Purbrick, Charlie Thorne and James Miles.
