Turning Japanese
Arts Week at the Prep School is alwasy an opportunity to dedicate a whole week to the creative arts and to explore new cultural dimensions for inspiration. This year the children looked at Japanese art across all media including, of course, the culinary arts. Teruko taught the children the fine art of sushi making, visiting artist, Finn Bush, worked with the pupils on beautiful and intricate Tokyo hats and indigo dye workshops were also included in the week of activities.
