World Book Day at Clayesmore Prep School.

Clayesmore Prep School celebrated World Book Day in style this week, as part of the National Year of Reading. Pupils right across the school from the Nursery to Year 8 dressed as their favourite book characters, with prizes being awarded for the most original costumes. Clayesmore Prep School hosted both boys and firls IAPS Swimming Regional Rounds in their 25 metre pool during February 2008. Stacey Newlin and Tom Highnam have won places in the Under 12's Orchestra of The National Children's Orchestra of Great Britain for the second year in a row. Fifty pupils from Year 8 have enjoyed what must have been one of the most successful trips to France. Based in Asnelles-sur-Mer, a small fishing village near Arromanches, the children were able to take part in both French and History activities.
