The Colours of Africa
Nursery, Pre-Prep and Junior pupils at Clayesmore Prep were treated to a cultural morning recently when Nigerian author, Ifoema Onyefulu visited the school to talk to the children and show them her books.
Ifeoma’s books feature colourful photographs taken by her during her trips to Nigeria and Ghana. She enthralled the children with stories about Africa and let them handle and learn about basket making, jewellery and the money from her native country.
