The Tutor System
Whilst the house staff are chiefly responsible for pupils, everyone is allocated to a tutor group and tutor meetings are an important fixture in the weekly timetable. This is time for the discussion of grades, exam results and future targets, option choices that need to be made, and personal concerns. The aim is to build a mutually respectful working relationship, whereby the pupil can receive sound advice on getting the best out of their time at Clayesmore in every sense, and the tutor can develop a personal interest in each individual and support them fully.
