A level results – 2007

The A level pass rate in 2007 was in excess of 99%. 34% of the passes were at grade A – well above the national average and 5 whole percentage points higher than ever before at Clayesmore. The A & B grade pass rate at Clayesmore was 61% this year.

The press has been commenting on the national increase in the number of A grades since 2002 (an increase over 5 years of 6%) which is largely attributable to the independent sector. In fact, over that time, Clayesmore’s A grade performance at A-level has increased by a full 10 percentage points.

GCSE results – 2007

The A* – C pass rate this year was 89.51% which represents an improvement of 9.5% over two years. 66% of our grades were A*, A or B this year, against a figure in 2006 of 53%.”
