Thursday October 16th saw the world premiere of a new play, Bacon Sandwiches, at Clayesmore. On the 23rd September 2008, thirty five lower sixth students took part in the Young Enterprise Masterclass day which proved to be a resounding success. In company teams of six, students designed and developed eco-toys for a target audience of 4 – 10 year olds using only the resources on offer, such as string, paper and cardboard. Trekkers Return from Everest Expedition

Clayesmore's adventurers have returned in finest spirits this summer from one of the world's most famous trekking expeditions-Everest Base Camp. The 5270 metre climb in Nepal started at Lukla and the team of 15 pupils and staff stopped at Tea Houses each night.
